We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

By using this website and placing orders, you represent and warrant that:

•        You are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian;

•        You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;

•        You are a resident of Australia or an eligible international jurisdiction;

•        All information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including if we believe you do not meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Products and Product Information

3.1 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including descriptions, ingredients, images, and pricing. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

3.2 Korean Beauty and Skincare Products

Our products include authentic Korean beauty and skincare items imported from South Korea and other countries. Product formulations, packaging, and labelling may differ from the images shown on the website due to manufacturer updates or regional variations.

3.3 Ingredients and Allergens

It is your sole responsibility to review the full ingredient list of any product before purchase or use. We strongly recommend that you:

•        Conduct a patch test before applying any new skincare product to your face or body;

•        Consult a dermatologist or medical professional if you have sensitive skin, known allergies, or existing skin conditions;

•        Discontinue use immediately if you experience any adverse reaction.

Korean Beauty Australia accepts no liability for any allergic reactions, skin irritation, or adverse effects resulting from use of our products.

3.4 Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected. A binding contract is only formed when we send you an order confirmation email confirming that your order has been accepted and dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to:

•        Errors in product pricing or description;

•        Suspected fraudulent activity;

•        Failure of payment authorisation;

•        Products being out of stock;

•        Restrictions on quantities available for purchase.

If your order is cancelled after payment has been processed, you will receive a full refund within 5-10 business days.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

All prices on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable, in accordance with the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth).

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed and confirmed.

•        Afterpay and other buy-now-pay-later services (where available);

All payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

5.3 Currency and International Orders

While our prices are listed in AUD, international customers may be subject to currency conversion fees charged by their financial institution. Any applicable import duties, customs fees, or taxes for international orders are the sole responsibility of the customer.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Domestic Shipping (Australia)

We offer standard and express shipping across all Australian states and territories. Estimated delivery times are:

•        Standard shipping: 3-7 business days;

•        Express shipping: 1-3 business days;

•        Rural and remote areas may experience longer delivery times.

6.2 International Shipping

At this time, Korean Beauty Australia only ships within Australia and does not offer international shipping. We are working towards expanding our delivery destinations in the future and appreciate your understanding.

 

6.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, order weight, and selected shipping method. Free standard shipping may be offered for orders exceeding a specified minimum value, as displayed on our website at the time of purchase.

6.4 Risk and Title

Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. Title to the products passes to you upon receipt of full payment. We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to products after they have been delivered to the nominated delivery address.

6.5 Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect from a post office, we will contact you to arrange redelivery at your cost, or issue a refund less the original shipping fee.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

7.1 Australian Consumer Law

Our returns policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for major failures, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

7.2 Change of Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the following conditions:

•        The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging;

•        A valid proof of purchase is provided;

•        The product is not a sale or clearance item (unless faulty);

•        Return postage costs are borne by the customer.

7.3 Faulty or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will assess your claim and, if valid, offer a replacement, exchange, or full refund including return postage costs.

7.4 Hygiene and Safety

For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on opened skincare, makeup, or personal care products unless the product is faulty or not as described.

7.5 How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at returns@koreanbeauty.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs where applicable. Do not return products without first receiving return authorisation from us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Korean Beauty Australia and its directors, employees, agents, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or products.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our website shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the product(s) to which the claim relates.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and all products and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that:

If we are unable to resolve a dispute directly, you may seek assistance from Consumer Affairs Victoria, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), or other applicable dispute resolution bodies.
